That said, people have enjoyed the game in their cabinet using the options that were provided in DT.
I think virtual pinball cabinets are more popular and more common than the dev realizes, especially as a percentage of owners of a niche category of games such as digital pinball.
I play DT on in my cabinet and it works well enough. I simply use a JPEG I created as a backglass. Empty DMD screen.
Providing a "cabinet mode" would be a lot simpler than the dev makes it out to be. You do not have to provide support for lights, knockers, surround sound, etc. That would be awesome, no doubt, but a simple cabinet mode that lets us assign 2 or 3 screens to the playfield, DMD, and backglass would suffice. I imagine the only extra work would require that you break the DMD/score screens away from the playfield and allow us to move it around.
All that said, thank you for pursuing a vertical mode!
Absolutely agree on this. Would rather more robust features, multiple (in-game) tables, ect over cabinet support, although it would be amazingly cool.
Still, while cabinets might be niche, a much larger number of users might have multi monitor setups, which would benefit cabinets as well, I would think. Personally would love optional extra stats or info on a 2nd monitor.
i believe you had that as seperete configurable inputs on demons tilt
Can you please add that for this game?
Other feedback I'd like to add is when in portrait resolution and with tate mode checked everything is so zoomed out its hard to see and much less exciting. I prefer portrait without tate even with the action on the far right and left being cut off. Ideally, when the ball goes off the main vertical playfied I'd love to have the game autozoom so I don't lose out on the action.
I'd like to add that the atgame legends pin was so successful the company released a mini version and soon to be releasing a next gen product.
It's hard to describe my points. I'll try to take a video. Please don't force tate.
At this point your two games are the most fun I'm having on the legends pin.
Can you please have a second screen for pinball backglass and move the overlaid score and other details to the second screen? This would be epic.
