Unsure how to progress

I've hit a point where i'm not really sure where to go now, every puzzle i have access to, i've not found the clues to solve, or just dont see the connection in my notes. I'd appreciate either a nudge in the correct direction or towards a note i may have missed.

Lunar Phase Book (i have a book telling about which phase is which date, but not which dates to look for)
Fames Painting (I assume the block fell down the drain in the back yard?
Nomes Statue puzzle (Completely unsure of what to make of the letters there)
Cut up posters (I put them all together, unsure what they are for)

1. "Nomes" means "Name". Maybe you can figure out what name to type in?

2. The block should be somewhere in the basement areas, maybe you'll stumble upon it by snooping around

Well i figured out the Nomes door so now i have all that to figure out. I've explored everything in the basement i have access to, have not yet found the path into the other parts. Thank you for the help ^^

If that's the case than the only puzzles open to me are the Puzzle Boxes, and i've been at that for 30 minutes straight now. I only have 36%, so i feel like there should be more i can do that i'm just not seeing.

No, but that gives me a direction i guess. I've quite literally been just wandering around lost for hours.

I think i'm just gonna have to put the game down until there are guides online. I'm just not making any progress anymore. The elevator just lead to more dead ends or puzzles i either dont understand or dont have the clues for. I've found several doors that match the Puzzle Boxes but nothing i try is working out.
