Completely stuck on Bug Report 2

I've done everything else and I just can't figure this one out.

The order of the numbers changes on every playthrough but the idea is that there are four busts in the room that are spelling the names of the main characters. For me it was 23LEI (Lorelei) and 3n1 (Renzo). You need to correlate the numbers to the sylabes. For me it was 2 = LO 3 = RE 1 = ZO. Then try to type it into the machine, all caps, in 1 2 3 order. For me it was ZOLORE.

Where did you get their names?

Those are the names of the characters that appear again and again all over the game. They're not specific to that puzzle.

The names are scattered across the various notes and documents you've picked up. However, instead of looking through any of those, I solved it in the most backwards way imaginable. I'm putting it in spoiler text since this technically also says the solution to a separate puzzle in the second floor gallery. Does anyone remember that statue that has five letters on it in the second floor gallery? Well, I figured out "32lei = Lorelei" pretty quickly then I got stumped. Really, I should've picked up on the Lorenzo one, but I didn't. I figured out the other name "2n1 = Renzo" by remembering that statue in the gallery which also helped me open that door. Win-Win.

Oh boo, it was their actual names. I was trying to connect them to the statues in the front courtyard, which are all titled with their archetypes (dreamer, creator, etc). Thanks all!

I'm having the same issue and I'm stuck because I keep going over different combinations I know I'm wrong lol.

And I'm staring at this thinking what on earth.

how would one know these busts are the main characters? how would one know these senseless abbreviations are the names of the characters? are there any hints to that?

You come across these names over and over again throughout the game, and the abbreviations contain snippets of each name.

I got 3NATE, 3NI, 23LEI, and 23NI. What would my solution be. I'm still really confused.

it's not 3NI, it's 3N1
1=ZO
2=LO
3=RE
