Game since update
Just wondering to those who own this game already, since the major update is the game now worth buying? don't get me wrong, I played and completed Fade to Black back in the day so I don't mind a bit of jank but this game was in a really poor state. I'd love to pick up this game but would like some opinions first!

Cheers!

Well it's on Sale. If you have liked the series from the original and stop expecting it to be the old game. And also want a fresh look on the original idea. Then as I did buy it. You have 2hrs anyway on Steam refund policy to see how it runs. Personally I have only bought this since the update. No it's not perfect, it has bugs at times too. I did need to restart it one time due to being stuck. So I came in expecting the worst. But for me this is a fantastic take on the original game. I own all flashback games on many systems. Loved the 2013 version myself so many hated this one too. So for me I am running this on Ultra settings. for the most part this runs great for me. Yes the odd stutter some times nothing major. And I think the game looks beautiful. I like the new 3D back drops and new perspective and Cyberpunk world. I think come in with a open mind. I don't regret buying it. I am running on Omen 16 maxed out. It's not crashed at all. If you read all the reviews you won't buy it. But try and see. Maybe it won't run well, refund it. Maybe you won't like how it looks, refund it. But maybe you will have a pleasant surprise and have a new fresh look at a classic game. The Story seems to feel so far so familiar like the very first one, for me this is a good thing and I felt at home straight away. Personally I recommend if you a die hard fan like me.

The point is if you buy it, you'll find out. Feedback from users and reviews are always good to explore. But personally I like to try it myself and find out. This is the only way you will find out how well it can run on your hardware and if you like it. And see even with any bug and issues if the price vs experience is worth it. I gave my personal opinion on how it was after the update as I did not own it before. I was only giving you something to work off as no one else had taken any time to reply to your post. Met only with a negative. I have read the update notes and clearly I can only think this must be better from the changes made as some control ones should have been standard. While its still on sale you choice but test it out for under 2 hrs and decide yourself. You are asking a question that is subjective. I can tell you it's better, but you can disagree. I can tell you it's worse, you can disagree. So check it out yourself is the only way in my humble opinion. :)
