Modding guide

Can anyone link to any documentation and guides for modding of this game, I have found at most like two messages on forums about it, witth little to no specifics. I wanted to learn how to make a new country for the game and if possible save 1889 ship designs for said new country.

A new country is actually pretty easy, assuming you have patience and know how to use notepad, but your best bet is going to the NWS Forums and reading guides from RTW2 or even RTW1. Effectively they are the same game at the basic level. As well, there are a lot of other pre-made nations there, especailly in RTW2 forum, you can pretty easily move over to RTW3.
