Richedit line insertion error?

This error occurs when I check a ship with 0.5 inch armor in the ship designer.
Unlike other dropdown items for armor thickness, only 0.5 inch is written as ".5" instead of "0.5", which causes an error returning a string instead of a number, I guess.

This might be helpful or not, but as a Korean OS user, it seems other Korean users are facing the same error as well. Could this be due to the Asian language setting?
