Sorry brohams, there won't be a Torchlight 3. Not anytime soon at least. If you want to buy Hob, support Runic, and they might dip into that cash cow down the road.

Torchlight is more than just a cashcow, it's a great game.
The second was less great, but still a great game as well, I enjoy the fact that they made it different from the first game, but still stuck to the same core principles.

A Torchlight 3 game with more focus on the type of dungeon crawling gameplay that you got in Torchlight 1 would be amazing.

Update the graphics to the latest generation but keep the same feel, throw in another class or two and add multiplayer. I'd spend 60$ on it.
