How long is the DEMO?

I really really wanted to not get into Torchlight, but I decided to because I heard about owning a pet and using the pet for inventory. So I decided to download the demo. OMG where was I? I can use the pet to send him off to sell items? And buy stuff? wow lol

In all seriousness though (before I go on).....How long is the demo supposed to be? Is there an hr cap? Or a level cap? Or an area cap? LOL Also is there a Character cap?

For example: If you reach level 15, demo is over with..You can only create 1 Character and you cant get past X quest or area or even Act (if Torchlight is divided into Acts)

Right now I'm level 10, I just reached Wellspring area with 1 Character. I'd love to try other classes too; well that is if you say Demo has a level cap of 20, may as well put my current character to bed. But if I'm like nearing the end of the demo for current class I may continue

Anyways I'm on a really really tight budget mainly because I'm a huge massive gamer. I've probably boughten 5 games since September and I think I havent defeated any of them lol; so paying 14.99 for a game similiar to Diablo 3 well....not right now. Thanksgiving sale is happening so we will see.

I tried the demo briefly and found it quite longish (as far as demos go) and was quite fun. My brah went on it for quite some time, with no limit.. as in.. it won't close after 5 minutes or some shizz. I'm not aware of a level limit - I believe my brother was somewhere over level 10 before he finally bought the game.

There doesn't look to be a character cap, if you mean a limit to the number of characters you can have. I have over 10 characters (6 mules, and 4 main characters, plus some others) and so far no problems. [:

BTW, if you buy the game, I believe you keep all your shizz.

yep , Torchlight 2 is AWESOME!! :D

I haven't play the demo but if is ( almost ) the same as the beta ( i played the beta ) is all the act 1 ( 2 "big bosses" ) and you can create all the chars you want.

Your pet, besides you could send him sell your stuff and buy some things , you could also teach him spells and make him a better ally by feeding him with fish

Thanks. If there isnt a level cap or a quest cap I find it odd ROFL; maybe I'll post on official forums too but for now I'll try and create a new character/pet :)
