Always optional to go into NG of any playthrough. People have found they can get to 100 without going too far through the NG's. Personally when I can be bothered I'll run a proper char and get up to NG+5 and then keep going, just for the fun of it, if I want to farm when I'm bored :)
Runic must provide some premium or motivation for people to move up to higher NG+++ levels, kinda like a big super Monster Boss, or monsters that only shows up on NG++++, etc.. then people will try to achieve that goal.
there are very few items above level 100 that can drop in the game, and most drop in lvl 105 Mapworks anyways, so NG runs become almost useless.
adding "elite" mobs and unique bosses to NG+2 and beyond, plus some lvl 120 uniques and legendaries - would be a very good idea.
or have a character at level 120 :)
so many cheaters out there now in NG, I won't be surprised to see a lvl 200 char sooner or later
number of people who got to the end of NG+3 playing legit, probably can't fill one six-player game. and that's the problem.
I'd prefer it like that. Higher the Max Level, the more playability there can be.
