Mapwork dungeons

Does anyone actually get gear from these or just levels? I've done a ton and only gotten like one or two unqiues which I can't even wear and the rares/greens aren't any good either.

that's probably because you have zero magic find bonus, and/or play maps below your level.
if you're not on Elite, try a map of a slightly higher level than your char and I promise you'll have good gear in no time
but DO NOT do that if your char is Hardcore, since you'll probably die at least once.

I get tons of gear normally send pet back twice per map and 1 to 2 Unique's. It seems that most of the gear is above level because built right your always fighting area's slightly above yours but can always be worked into my current set by using a high stat piece such as belt, boots,necklace etc i always save any high stat blue's and save 10 points just to equip better gear incase i need it.

I have items that have magic find but all other stats are ♥♥♥♥. Should I use it anyway? And there are always big gaps between the dungeon levels, I'm level 77 at the moment and the next ''batch'' are for level 85. What should I do?

what's your char, build and difficulty you play?
if it's good enough and the difficulty is Casual or Normal, you can attempt a level 85 dungeon's 2 floors without bossfight several times. you'll get good gear both for your char and for trade + some levelups that'll allow you to move on.
if it's Veteran, join a game with a high lvl char playing so he'll do most of the fighting, and you'll do the support and reward-collecting :)
if it's Elite and/or Hardcore - don't even think about it.

no. doing lvl 85 dungeon with lvl 77 Berserker should be enough. you'll need your good gear.
that's mostly what I did with my Zerk. now he's close to lvl 100, NG++, avg. gear level 92 with a Legendary claw. fast and furious :)

Just did one, they hit hard but made it eventually, 6 rares, no uniques :<

Keep trying. I've seen runs with 3 or 4 and had junk runs.

Got a legednary on mapworks and got some of my sets and skulls in there also....so yeah you can get good gear. Look for maps with +magic find

I'll try to farm them as much as possible now ;D What do I do with the loot that I cant use though? Vendor?

i vendor all the green and blue that i don't need. The uniques I can't use I transmute them. 4 useless uniques = 1 unique at a transmute imp dude thing....stuff

I need to jump in one of your games lol 180 hours took 2 toons to NG+ 2 i have been just running maps mage has a +45% MF set and still no legendary. I guess in a way thats good though would'nt be legendary if they dropped too often.

Mapworks :) just now on warrior with no MF at all. It is ofcoarse a bow.. lol could'nt expect it to also be something i would use ;)

Same dungeon 5 min later so theres an example of Mapworks and gear drops.. my Zerk has no MF iether.
