A note about Attribute Enchanters and "Cheaters"

I am currently an Engineer at level 71. I have all Mondon armor equiped except Belt, Necklace and the 2 rings.

Today, I went into a game... People inspect me and start calling me a cheater because I'm level 71 with lvl 100 items.

What they didn't notice is that the Belt/Necklace/Rings(non-Mondon) have attribute enchants too. Because of those powerful enchants, I can equip my Mondon suit at lower level.

So, yes, cheap items CAN be used as "leverage" to equip high-end gears. But they just woudn't listen. I got kicked.

So, pretty please, you see someone with low level and high end gears, don't automatically label them as cheaters.

Those guys were just d-bags. I play with cheats no promblem but when they start one shotting everything and can take 5 million damage to the face and not get harmed is when they get kicked.

Oh there will be a lot of players just like that, only thing is how to deal with them. If i get kicked then so be it, not to difficult to find better people then those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Nope. The max damage I've seen yet is around 30k. You fail at it.

@Vagrant the question is did you get the Mondon set drop in game or console-spawn it (or got it from someone who console-spawned it)? the 2nd option means every item in it is labled as "cheated", and people see that when they inspect your gear.
also, did you run some commands in the console with that char? because that'll flag your char as "suspicious" online.

what I usually do with people I see flagged in game, is ask them what they did.
if they are being honest and\or didn't over-cheat (like all stats 2000 at lvl 20,or something like that) - I have no reason to vote "kick out".
the game's co-op and people who used the console to spawn some items, or add a little bit of stat/skill points, or used a respec potion to change their build - are still fun to play with, even if not 100% legit.

if however they turn hostile or start one-shotting everything and getting all the loot before I get there - out they go.

I have a mid-level mage I "tweaked" a bit for a solid fire melee build - and is definitely flagged - and she's yet to be kicked out of a game on cheating grounds. so obviously I'm not the only one who values fair-play, fair trade and teamwork high above minor cheating.

if you have activated your console, open up the console in single player and type 'doicheat' without the quote. it will tell you either 2 things "YES YOU DO CHEAT" which means you cheated and the reason why other players say you cheat, or "NO YOU DONT CHEAT" which means you dont cheat and the people accusing you are simply envious sobs.

People sure ae pretty stupid, especially if they don't notice the requirements for items at the bottom of them when they require a certain level OR stat requirements.

And...don't see why there are people on here automatically assumging that people would have spawned a whole set using the console. Especially when people can just as easily use that one Scroll to summon the set collector vendor. And not to forget trading, mapworks runs, being in higher difficulties (right now im in NG+4 myself) to get better drops. Yeah.

Ok ok, so I have the same problem as the first post. I do not hack I have two level 100s and have them fully geared and while gearing them was able to gather the other two level 99 unique class sets, So i have an outlander in the high level gear and I am constantly kicked and called a hack.

I wish people would stop prematurely judging me and learn how stats and gear work. with the right stat stepping you can put level 99 gear on a level 18, I know i have done it. But it not hacking.

i have cheated myself and tried the console command 'doicheat' to investigate myself rather than asking people if u have a ! on your character. saves you the embarassment.

but of course if you indeed cheat there is a tool now to remove the cheat flag.
