Torchlight 2 Firewall Problems Detected

Ok, the first time I tried to play online with a friend ended up with both of us having errors. I think I fixed this by using service pack 2 for Vista over the service pack 1 for win7 i was using. So we played online with no problems.

Then the next day my computer full on crashed. So I had to format the pc. But then I got errors from installing win7. So i took it to a pc shop to get repaired.

So to coninue playing tl2 i downgraded to a low specs pc. But above the minium specs for tl2. I could play singleplayer fine. But when I tried to play multiplayer yesterday this error came up 'Firewall Problems Detected - Check your Firewall' or someing like that. So i turned of my firewall and made sure that tl2 was allowed through the firewall. But it didn't help. So I sent a ticket to steam support. But if any of you guys knows the solution to this problem please help. It's holidays now for me and i've been pumped to play this with my friends.

i wish i could help you.. once TL2 was given permission by Windows Firewall i never had any problems at all.

I've always had this problem even though I've never turned on my firewall ever! I swear! I just play LAN now over VPN, no point trying to get internet working there's always something blocking that tangled web of tubes.

Gente eu resolvi! pra quem ainda quer jogar online ou lan com alguem, basta seguir esses passos;

1-Abra o Windows Defender Firewall, clique em configurações avançadas, Regras de entrada, e lá na direita Nova regra...Marque a opção programa e clique em avançar, agora procure onde voce instalou o seu torchlight, e selecione o torchlight2.exe da pasta de instalação, em seguida apenas avance, selecione todas as opções pra marcar e avance, e por fim renomeie a regra pra Torchlight 2 (não precisa de descrição) abra o jogo como administrador, crie ou conecte no servidor de seus amigos ! tmj
