Which permanent pet fish is the best?

I just got a giant tunnel shark which could turn my pet wolf into a molebeast permanently.. Are these permanent fish any good at all compared to original form?

well i have the spider that slows i think and a crab on my other and some in stash to tbh i dont know what the best fish is what i do know is that i want a permanent Torso(half a skeleton) crawling behind me
but alas i dont have it yet

I noticed that on Giant fish (the one that turn your pet permanently) you have specification on what each transformation give. Warsnout give high-damage and Web gives the web ability to your pet. So you might want to check what the description says for more details on the transformation

I like the warsnout perma best. Because of its high dps.

By description alone, Mimic seems to be best, but I have yet to try it out. "Turns your pet into a superior combat pet" is what it says.

The best food for your pet is vampiric spider egg, just 5min but it's worth it.

Mimic IMO.
Though the mimic fish are quite hard to obtain, especially a perma one.
