I have some bad news for you as well.. and that it's you don't know how forums work.
When you post a comment in a thread it's always directed toward the original poster unless you quote someone else's comment, like I just did.
We should be thankfull for the faced that there are still some good Game Devs :D
And they brought us TL2 !
Enjoy it ! and if dont ... MOD the hell out of it till u like it :D
And with modding i dont mean cheating !
The most important point was the price difference. $20 vs $60. Distribution method was largely irrelevant to my argument. And while yeah, many of the most influential members of the team worked on D1 & 2. But claiming they are exactly the same studio is just plain wrong.
Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, TL2 is awesome. Tons of content, only $20. It's amazing that a team of just 30 or so managed to put together such an awesome game. All it's really lacking is a little bit of polish that big-budget retail games do. And that's fine, I don't expect that from a $20 downloadable that a small team made.
