Many ISP's don't allow you to connect P2P, in an attempt to stop piracy... but they forget that a lot of games' multiplayer use P2P as a connection.
My advice will be to speak to your ISP and ask them to turn off any traffic management stopping you from connecting to P2P networks, as you are unable to play multiplayer games.
Even though I've done all this p2p downloading, my internet still dies when trying to play multiplayer with my friends. We use Tunngle for speed and convenience, perhaps that's it? I mean, we'd do real LAN if we didn't live across the country from each other.
I don't know, but I hope this gets addressed in the near future. Been wanting to play this with my buddies since it released but I can only play singleplayer XD
It's not a particularly isolated issue, so there's hope it will get fixed.
