Is using Cheat engine on the game allowed?

Is using cheat engine on the game allowed? i seen alot of people do it, and i wondered if i could report them or something.

it shouldn't be when you're playing with other people but in singleplayer i guess it's allowed

If they're in singleplayer they can do whatever they want. Not sure about multiplayer, though. It's a skeezy thing to do if you're playing with others.

Considering your single player chcracters carry over to multiplayer i really dont think it would be allowed at all. That and the fact that it is altering the game play. If cheats were to be allowed in this game you would think they would add a console or actual cheat codes or something of the sort.

Just my opinion.

jezes people can get the tools for modding and it stil isnt enuf they want to effing cheat kids these days

I don't think they'll do anything about cheating in this game. You'll be able to mod pretty much anything in this game when the mod tools come out, so it would be a bit of a nightmare to sort the mods that give cheat like benefits from actual cheats.

I only really play with friends so I'm not really affected by the morons that cheat just to ruin the experience of others.

In Torchlight 1 if used cheats your char get the Cheat in you name like this "Fela the Cheater" instead of just "Fela" so probably they implemented the same thing for TL2.

if you see a cheater, Press inspect and you will see he cheated it will say " Error stats not correct" or "Console commands were run "

In an Interview with Giant Bomb they said they dont care if you cheat in Single Player, but they dont want people cheating in multiplayer.
