what happened to the town portal scrolls?

the first time i played there were town portal scrolls, now they've dissapeared...

Did you happen to run out?
The easiest way to get more is to send your pet to town to pick some up.
Not sure what vendor sells them exactly if you go yourself, think it's the same
one that sells potions.

General Vendor sells them in the Estherian Enclave. Some do drop as loot but not as frequently as T1 to be honest - but then again that's not a bad thing as in the original I would be sending the pet to town to sell them in stacks of 20 whilst still keeping 20 for myself. And now you have the ability to get the pet to buy potions for you it's very rare you need a portal to town, only to quick travel to other areas for quests etc. Great game though. Love it! :D

dont forget that your portal stays where you put it aslong as you stay in game only 1 portal can be "stored" that way tho

yes but at first i saw two types of portal scrolls : waypoint portal and town portal
the town portal scrolls no longer seem to be in the game!

There aren't any town portal scrolls. They were replaced with waypoint portal scrolls.

does anyone know how to get rid of the portal once your done with it? ive used it but it stays their and never goes away even when i exit the game and then come back. it disapears when i cast another portal scroll but then its that one that stays ive gone through it multiple times. does it ever go away or is it an infinite use kindof thing?

Check your consumables tab, second from the first in your inventory. If there arent any there then go buy some from the general vendor.

It will go away if you change from single player to multiplayer and vice versa, I think so ^_^ because even your map will be hidden again and every thing will be restart even n monster that you already defeated.
