Cheating ?
Hello
I stopped playing TL2 a good while ago because it was so easy to cheat. It killed the fun for me when i think that i have to work quite hard to make it through NG+ and others just cheat their way to the top.

But i saw that many people still play this game so i was wondering if its still possible to cheat without being cheat-tagged so easy? Also i think there was a way to remove the cheat-tag.

imo, there will always be cheaters but we don't have to be. Sorry to hear that it ruined the fun for you.

Wait until he learns that some people cheat on their tax returns. The IRS or CRA is going to be pissed when he stops filing.

Use CheatEngine to avoid the 'cheater's tag'. If you know how to use it you wont have any problems, otherwise look up some tutorials.

Use your "get out of jail" card to enroll in a remedial English class. The OP is opposed to cheating and you offer advice on how to avoid a cheater's tag?

LOL YES XD, when i saw his second paragraph, it was a complete contradiction to his first. REMEMBER text can be interpreted in many ways, only the 'author' has the true position of interpretation behind his/her text.

if you read his second paragraph you'll find this: 'But i saw that many people still play this game so i was wondering if its still possible to cheat without being cheat-tagged so easy? Also i think there was a way to remove the cheat-tag.'

Henceforth my interpretation was: "I see that many people still play, is it possible to cheat and avoid the 'cheat-tag' 'so easy' (whatever that implies.. 'so easy'?). Also I believe there 'was' a way to remove the 'cheat-tag'. (this looked like he wanted to play again, but also wanted to cheat without being tagged, and was hoping to remove tags as well.)

Thus my 'so easy' CE alternative can avoid the cheat-tag whilst cheating, but removing tags is something I know not.

I think I just lost an IQ point reading that...

You stopped playing because it was easy to cheat and you didn't like it. Then you say you want to play again and ask how you can cheat and get away with it.

What? That makes no sense. Why would you want to cheat if you dislike it? It ruined it for you but you have no qualms about potentially doing the same to others?

I don't get it.

I think what he meant was are there still cheaters that still cheat to the top, if so are they using a special kind of bypass to trick the system in removing cheated items etc. NOT that he wants to cheat himself is what I assume. He wants to know if suspicious players earned their level/gear or simply just cheated by removing the flag.

It does ruin a chunk of the multiplayer, but for me honestly I don't care about what others have achieved or have in their possesion, and if I were to join a room with a cheater i'd just leave.

It just kind of reminds me how in Diablo 1 you could easily duplicate items, and it became the thing you'd see in 80% of the rooms made, and people had to specifically mark their rooms as -LEGIT ONLY- to stand out from the cheaters. (And still have people come in and cheat anyway either ignoring it or doing it on purpose to ruin your legit runs)

This is why I typically play alone or with real life friends.

Yes, it is eazy to cheat. But you do not have to cheat nor do you need to play with cheats. One can finish this game without cheating. Why does it bother you if some cheat as long as you KNOW that the ones you play with do not cheat OR know exactly how they cheated. [Games are to have FUN!]

i personally think that if you end up beating the game in first place (not including achievements) you ahve every right to cheat. Especially when it is incorpoorated in the game. i play till i win, no cheats, then for fun, play it again with cheats. thats just my opinion.

imo, people that cheat in games more than likely do the same in real life, it's just their character.
Silvus Sol Aug 10, 2013 @ 3:48am
I have no problem if others want to cheat for fun. I get it. I do have a problem with them handing out consoled in items that can cause others who may not want to cheat to get flagged unknowingly.

If you want to cheat and have fun, by all means do so, just keep it containted. I've also noticed that those who cheat tend to want to destroy and disrupt those who strive to play legitly. I'm not going to speculate on why they feel the need to do this but it is a problem and it is all too common.

So in summary, if cheaters could keep to themselves I'd be fine with it. The problem is that most of them can't or won't.
