Why not buy the Humble Bundle and get Sacred 2 for $1?

As of now I would say Path of Exile. It's paying a better tribute to Diablo 2 than Diablo 3 does (I haven't played D3 though, just have heard things) while still mainting a rather adult visual appearance contrary to Torchlight's cartoonish look. PoE is currently in open beta, it might even stay free-to-play, so there is no reason why you shouldn't give it a chance.

I myself got a bit exhausted on it and so I am trying to enjoy Torchlight 2. It's not as easy as I've hoped though for various reasons.

Do you know where I can find Path Of Exile, is it on Steam?

It's not on Steam, you'll have to download it here http://www.pathofexile.com/

I've contacted the developers some while back suggesting to add the game to Steam. I think it would be great to have it there. There are other ARPGs like Van Helsing and Torchlight but PoE is different in specific areas making it a legit and entertaining experience too.

Torchlight 2 without question. Sacred 2 honestly kind of sucks and Diablo 3 is more of a casual action game rather than a decent rpg. Torchlight 2 on the other hand is a fantastic game, easily worth the $20 asking price.

Get TL2 and S2..D3 is pants. The guys who made D1 and D2 are the guys who made TL2. Well worth it and the mod community is great.

After I tried both Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2, I'd say go for Torchlight 2

Sacred 2 is huge, a bit to huge. Don't remember much about it though, but since the world was so huge they put in a lot of easter eggs. The quests are the usual types so nothing new there. But they put in fun quest though. One was a favor for rock band who liked Sacred and they actually made a song for the game.

Don't remember if it had a stats system you had control over or not. But the skill system was different from other games. In sacred you got an option after certain levels in the skills to either shoot 2 fireballs or do bigger explosions. While in Torchlight you don't get to pick the choice and most skills just give the same buff but better.

How long does the download take?
Ailes Aug 1, 2013 @ 12:13pm
Dunno, the game takes around 6,00 GB on my hard drive, but I think you'll be downloading an installer and not directly from their site.

If you love lots of loot, you could also check out Titan Quest. It is not amazing, but certainly fun and offers lots of playtime.
