I somehow turned off item names over items in the environment. How do I turn it back on?

It's really annoying :/. I've looked at all the options and key mappings and the only thing that seems to be related to it is alt to show items, but I don't want to run through the entire game holding down the alt key. How do I turn it back on? :(

Yay, I figured it out. I was so annoyed >_<. It's a little magnifying glass icon at the bottom left. It's not a hotkey or in the options, no wonder ><.

There is a hotkey ;) You can hit ALT by default, it'll toggle all ground items and breakables showing. In settings under 'item display' you can toggle which items are shown when toggled.

Well like I said, I figured it out :P. And also like I said, you have to hold alt so it didn't fix it at all. It was the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left that I had to click to get item names to show up again.
