Bell Stand in Blightbogs- bugged?
I found the bell, put it in the stand in the NW corner of the map, and nothing happened except a star appeared on my map in that location. But there's nothing there. Anyone can shed some light on this?

This happened to me as well, in a multiplayer game where my partner was able to talk to the witch that appeared by placing the bell while I just saw the new npc but could not engage in a chat. We resolved the issue by opening a new game session and checking the "reroll world" box. After that I just ran through that map (the world changes and repopulates after a reroll, so be careful) to find the witch again and this time was able to advance the quest.

oh, where is this reroll map box? and will it affect my other quest progress? I'm quite a bit farther down the main quest line

Made my own LAN game, found the box there, re-rolled the world, warped back to blighbog and I'll try again. I'm fine with that, more fun exploring LOL

lol omg I re-rolled the world, went and found the bell, put it in the bell stand -and AGAIN nothing, just a star on my map.

Installing the bell summons the witch that gives you the brew quest where you can chose among useless level 1 shoes and a vial that contains poison. If you rerolled and still cannot talk to the witch you can either reroll agin or check your quests if you have already finished that particular errand. If you did, your next order is to talk to one of the enchanting creatures in the camp, easy to find by just navigating to the quest marker on the map. The quest you get is Fades Passage. After you finish this quest you will be granted access to cacklespits realm.

ok, well I got to cacklespits realm anyway so I think this quest is just a side one anyway.

What's interesting is I recall doing a quest where the reward was two useless level 1 shoes or a red poison. It definintely was NOT this one, for obvious reasons, but was one I came across shortly after.

I think cacklespits realm is a must visit because you would not be able to finish the robot parts quest. Yes, it is a green one, so optional might be the technical description, but I see this quest as some kind of epic quest spanning all acts.

Ok so the I need this witch one in the swamp for the robot parts. I hate item hunting, but I suppose I'll reroll over and over and get that quest to start for me so I can complete the robot quest and see what happens.

I have the same bug. Just a star there and nothing to do.

So no Crackle quest for Grom's Arena?

For anyone who may wonder where they are in the Robot Quest for Act 3: From Crackle (if bugged try making a Lan game) to Grom's Arena (and two other kill missions) this leads to the Bad Potion (or Shoes) Reward which leads to the Racoon at the Camp which leads to the Sundered Battlefield where Fade unlocks the door to Crackle Realm which requires destroying many tree logs (avoid the Boss door) then walking around the map edges to activate some floating logs to reach a ledge that has the Part (then fight the boss or if missed then just ask Fade outside, walk in again and destroy those tree logs).
