Claws, Axes or Swords?

Hello, i wanna know what does more damage plus area too.

I heard (idk if its true) the claws ignore armor but dont make splash damage like axes, and swords idk what they can do, whats much better for my berserker? Thanks fellas

Their all good, I like axes, because they have a tendacy to be ice based, even more so on the rare and legendary items, the berserker works well with. Icy fingers of death is a good axe on the low end. with splash you can freeze alot of enemies and cleaave your way to happiness. Thats me.. I have played with all the above, all where fun. I like the beserker best myself. hope this helps you... choose will grasshopper....

I'm doing claws one set, Dual swords, the other. Not sure which I like best, but the claws seem faster and my skills let me do area.

in the endgame, go with what improves your stats.. I try to strike a balance so that an thing I found worth keeping, will not effect badly in another stat.. So if i found two claws that do more damage then my axes, I would go with the claws. not sure of your total play time, but as you get into it you learn quick what to keep, what to throw.. I have 1191 hours on this game. But most of all just have fun with, so times the unknow gives a bigger challenge... Good hunting and may the game gods be with you.

I've been playing since 4 days, im only lvl 40 at veteran mode with claws of lvl 56, the problem is when theres a lot of mobs and my claws doesnt splash my old axes :))
