Creating mods

Helloo.
I am interested in creating mods for Torchlight 2 or maybe Torchlight. So, um, how difficult is it? I have never modded before, and I don't really know the process. If someone could point me in the right direction, or just give me some simple steps, that would be appreciated. Would Torchlight 2 mods be a good place to start?

K, thanks for your quick response. Have you tried making mods at all? If so, is it difficult?

Maybe a little un-intuitive but not too difficult, really depends on what you want to make.

Ye i tried. Little bit caotic at first. BUT if you learn a bit you will see the whole structure behind torchlight. :)
