Unable to connect to LAN game
Having a recurring problem where I'm unable to connect to a LAN game created by my boyfriend. We have played via LAN on 3 seperate occasions now. The first time there were no issues, I connected straight away. The next two times each time I clicked "join" on the LAN game, it would say "connecting to host" but never actually connect. After numerous attempts, TL2 + steam + computer restarts I was finally able to connect. Once connected, we have not had any issues (game plays fine, no disconnections).

We tried to play again today and spent probably 30min trying to connect with no luck. If I host the game, my boyfriend is unable to see it. I am on Win 7 and he on Win 8.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Pretty sure it's something to do with firewall, try turning it off and on

Hi,

This is mainly cause by your system Firewall. I could go to deep detail, but to quickly fix your problem I recommend using applications such as Hamachi.
