The problem with a bow Outlander is that its a single-target build if you rely on weapon power alone. You pretty much NEED a few magical skills to support you but even then Outlander is probably THE most reliant class on kiting.
You can use a hotkey (I use space) to stop movement or shoot while standing....I learned to use it a lot since I started the outlander.
Enhancing the outlander shouldnt be too hard. You could go the easy way....pour some stat points into focus or get focus-gear and invest into the Glaive (your starter skill). Once upgraded to Tier1+ it really shines versus packs. Other speccs are beastmaster (summon allies when killing enemies) or poison build (also gotta need lots of focus tho).
Or try out the Shotgonne which has excellent stopping power versus packs of enemies.
I meant by Ranger the mod class ranger, but it's almost the same as outlander.
it's a mod class. But i had the same problem when i played outlander. Maybe i should try to use shotgun and try to learn more how to kite as a Ranger/Outlander. And try to put some points in focus. Most of the time i put my stats (points) in Dex and Str and Vit.
Thanks for your advise. I'm def gonna try it out.
Maybe it sounds stupid, but what do you mean by, To stop movement or shoot while standing.
I use my Razar Naga, and i never thought to use my spacebar to stop my movement. But i'm gonna try it out.
Thanks!
