Playing with Epic Games players.

The Epic Games version of Torchlight 2 is different than the Steam version. EG version is 1.25.95
The way to play with EG players is to replace your Torchlight2.exe file with the EG version. Your save files with will not automatically transfer as they save to different places. In order to play with your steam saves, go to your torchlight2 save folder (usually C:Documents/MyGames/RunicGames) and look for the folders Save and ModSave. One is for regular characters and the other is for characters made with mods. When you open up one of the folders there should be a folder with a string of numbers for a name. In there will be your saved Steam characters. In order to play them, simply copy them and paste them in the save/ modsave folder.

If you're playing with mods, make sure you each have the same load order for the mods.

what about EGS and GOG though? I saw they recently partnered with Epic so.............

looks like GOG has the same version.
