how the heck do i play this version on pc. i want to play with a controller

Im not a console owner but im sure you cannot play the switch version on a PC!

But i have read posts about being able to play the pc version with a controller. Since we're on steam i guess that would be the steam controller. I have no idea of how the button mapping works, but some modders have made mods to support that...

PC is Keyboard and Mouse. There is no native support for controller. You'll have to use mods or steam overlay controller profile to play with a controller.
