Disable auto aim / target lock ?
Ok, so I have my outlander with rapid fire/knockback wepaons. I often get into the problem that I LMb/RMB click one enemy, and the game "locks on" to that enemy. That enemy is pushed out of range, and I want to strafe my mouse over to other enemies without letting go of my rmb/lmb. The game does not let me shoot towards anything else than the first clicked enemy.

So, how do I make the game not "lock on" to an enemy and make it stop shooting towards the one. One thing is to never click on them when initiating, clicking the ground instead, but ever so often it of course happens, being a a fast paced game.

Well, it sounds like you understand the mechanism already. If you place your pointer on the ground when starting to shoot, you can change the direction of your aim at will. If you place your mouse on an enemy, you will be locked onto that enemy until you release your mouse button.

You can force your character to remain still by holding down the Shift key. Your locked-on target might move out of range, but then you'll be free to rotate your aim in any direction.

Not really. That's the issue. If I lock onto an enemy an they go out of range, I CAN'T change target without leting go if my LMB/RMB. It does not even matter if I terget the enemy if it is out or range to begin with. If I use "hold in plance"-button, they continue to be locked on even though i can't reach them. And I¨d like to strafe over to other enemies.

Any tips? And thanks for the reply.

I apologize. I guess I remembered wrong. I didn't have time to open the game and check.

At least, if you are holding the shift button, your Outlander won't move, and that half-second lift of the finger is all it takes. I do remember using the shift key more often when I was new to the game.
