Restarted in Veteran..and there aren't enough mobs???
Got to the enclave and was just barely level 2. Had to almost clear the next section just to get to level 3 so I could hit the corrupted cave without being naked and broke.. :)
Is there a fixed number of mobs or do they respawn so you can get some leveling ?????

Walk into 3 different areas without using any kind of Portal.

Dungeons don't count- they have to be entirely different open spaces in order to reroll.

This is much easier to do once more locations open in the later game.

This will reset other Act areas as well.

Completed primary missions remain completed yet awards are still given out for saving roaming characters.

Start a LAN game, and check "shuffle world" box. Takes you 5 seconds instead of running through empty maps.

Doesn't that give you entirely new map layouts as well though? That may not always be desirable, and is good info to know ahead of time.

When playing the game without mods in Elite mode (the next difficulty up from Veteran) I never use the portal skill or scrolls. I run back to the portal at the entrance to each area if I need to go to town. I don't enter dungeons until I've checked my map and made sure I've cleared all areas top-world. Then you can usually go back to a map that is 2 maps below the one you are working on and redo everything. However, the xp points won't level you up very fast. If you spawn a portal in a dungeon, that dungeon will not reset. If you clear 2 dungeons after one you have cleared in a given area, usually the first dungeon you cleared (and any dungeons prior to that one) will reset. Repeating dungeons in the area you are currently working on is a faster way to gain more xp points.
