Cant play, "unable to determine file type best guess ASCII"

says I need to save file in unicode best in wordpad? some one please help how do i resolve this issue love this game!

Some recommend deleting the local_settings.txt file.

Use your .restore files to and rename them .SVB to maintain some character progress afterward.

Both are found somewhere in Documents / Runic Games / Torchlight 2 / Save
