Melee Cursed Build
Having a lot of success with rapier +3 with cursed 70 pct rings. Wear the christmas holiday suit, and find the ring that gives 90 pct reduced curse damage.. Then throw on the mossy pentagram and laugh at everything.

Glitch is correct, being able to ignore cursed rot while still benefitting from those sick rings is the way
You can't really ignore it, even with 100% curse rot damage resist you still lose some HP, oddly, so I consider that set useless.

I honestly just use the vampire set (Gentleman Suit, Cowboy Hat, Vampire Locket) alongside the whip, fully upgraded, and the rings I use are Ruffian, Cursed Flesh, Gold Skull and Eclipse. Eclipse gives 90% curse rot resist and you lose only marginally more hp/sec than having 100% with the Cage and Christmas Past robes (both of which give 50% for 100% but you still lose HP) - the other rings are strictly damage added to melee 2 of which are based on how cursed you are, and I am always curse rotted. But having 40% life steal and my weapon doing 30 damage (6 base + 24 from upgrades and bonuses) and 40 poise (15 base + 25 from upgrades and bonuses) per normal attack, I nearly stunlock everything and hp is constantly refilled. I barely have to heal outside of some of the more spammy enemies/bosses, like the Beast Nightingale, or when running around with no enemies.

Artifacts are both Snuffboxes to maintain curse status even after leveling up, Flight codex (really fast run), Evasion codex (I don't think it works when curse rotted though), Lantern Familiar, Nightengale Doll, and Second Chance Brooch just in case, though I've only died twice (before I completed this set) and have beaten the final boss, just trying to finish everything else before ng+.

I also have I think all of the charms, which give like 5 speed, 10% to most damage types and some give resistances too. All of them are remembered just in case I do die since they apply bonuses just being in your inventory. Always remember the charms.

Might switch to the Starry Greatsword though (finally got it, it is ng+ only). Better damage, similar range, slightly slower but the curse damage is high enough that it can replace the bleeding in the whip pretty easily I think, gonna test it for a while.

Oh, and my stats (forgive the glow, I use reshade for more ambient lighting and HDR but it makes white pages like the stat page glow):

May I ask what were your stats priority early to late game?
The link is not working, I think

Looks like Eclipse ring was nerfed. Shows 50% reduction in curse rot damage on my game.

Yeah
But you can still stack to some degree with a helmet or the cloak
