Gatehouse chest code

I am trying to complete everything before going to chapter 2. I cannot figure out the chest code in the gatehouse residence. I thought it had to do with the stars, or maybe the mirrors, but can't figure it out. I must be missing something. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been stuck in it for way too long lol.

Camera on mirrors, count the number of sides of the borders. The dots below are the order. This puzzle chest resets every day, but the code is different each time.

I was looking for suspicious mirrors everywhere but it never occured to me, to use a camera on a mirror. Thanks alot.
