MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2013 Plus

MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2013 Plus

Crashing
So this program has a tendency to just crash. It happens after I edit for a bit and then move to a different part. I can also replicate it when I try turning on anti analysing after a bit of editing it will crash. But this isin't the normal kind of crash I'm use too. Usually the program will freeze, go gray, and then a message saying the program is not responding. But no, for this it comes out of no where and just says Magix Movie Edit pro 2013 plus has stopped. Very odd and now I have it saving every minute and mashing ctrl + S when ever I edit. Anyone else experincing crashing problems?

It might be worth to try and make sure quick time is up to date

I had this problem for a littl bit. But I fixed it by turning off hardware acceleration during rendering in the options.

I would recommend to contact Support directly at the support website. Remember to register your software through the Help Menu and then you can raise a ticket.

Crash problems can be specific to hardware configurations and need to be investigated thoroughly.

With regards to MPEG4 export, are you getting an error message? Also you can reset the MPEG4 settings by selecting a preset mode. Often the encoder can crash if you have set up advanced settings that are not compatible with each other. Disabling hardware acceleration can improve stability on some graphics cards.

Quicktime installation is only applicable to exports of MOV container format, if you are having problems with importing or exporting MOV files, then always update your Quicktime first.

pff don't make us laugh, the latest in hardware and all updated to maximum... yeh... no other program has problems, just this program...
Seems to me this program is just bad.

Pay for support XD, yeh right....why? they know their product is crap so they make more money by offering help...
A good company would solve this for free (update?)
I'm experiencing the same problem too, but it tends to happen when I zoom in and out on the timeline. The program crashes and if I restore the project on the restart it crashes again.
Ok, I think I fixed my crashing issue. I went to File > Settings > Program. Then went to Display options and changed Video mose to Alternative mode 2 (Video Mixing Renderer9). So far that has resolved my creashing issue.

@Mechanoid.... Email support is free, we do not charge for it, only telephone support is pay for.

Also just because you have the latest hardware and everything is up to date, does not mean there will not be problems. It still needs to be investigated. We have sold thousands of copies on STEAM already and we have a few posts about technical problems. The 99% of our customer base, do not experience any problems, we work hard to ensure that our software works, just like any other company.

No software runs 100% all of the time, PC's and Windows are generally too complex to not have any problems on some systems. You can contact us for free on email and we can investigate and try to fix the problem for you and other customers. We cannot guarantee there will always be a fix, however, we take every problem seriously.

It's weird that only this program is flawed on my end...
Seeing i have over 45 other programs working just fine right after install.

The support site isn't exactly properly guiding (thinking the obvious, pay for support).
Indeed i will contact customer support, but not at this time though...
For now i have uninstalled it.

Also i'll try Xzio's solution first... which i doubt but hope will work for me...

ehhmm sure you used the preview rendering ? sometimes you have to delete all and let the program choose in auto mode the ranges to render . and let it work,
or do you have ssd´s for editing in your system ^^ ?
sry 4 my english : D
