my trolls eat my goblins

Is this a bug or a feature? If it is a feature, how do I prevent my trolls from doing so?

So I'm pretty sure at some point in the game it mentions that if there isn't enough food your trolls would start eating your elves. I guess the same is true for goblins.

Make sure you have the Commissary set up for the minions to eat at.

AI bug, trolls get stuck in a rut and can't eat so so they grab a minion to eat instead

It's a feature, this is write on the box for troll. You can have some treasure to counter that later in the game

No, you are wrong.

I have 4 trolls and 20 "meats" in the pantry.
Trolls guard room is on the 4th floor, there they have all facilieties.
There is also a Canteen with 2 Meat Buffet, and next to the canteen a kitchen with pantry and meat.
Yet, I just followed this troll go to level 2, kill a goblin that was eating on the Canteen on level 2.

The troll outright ignored the Canteen with Meat Buffet (and tables, max star Canteen) to travel 2 floors just to kill a Goblin to eat.

Trolls are bugged and DO NOT prioritize ready meals over Artisan, Guard, or Domestic Elfs and Goblins.

This is stupid, I'm getting rid of all Trolls otherwise they keep eating my experienced other classes.

Trolls don't eat meat, they eat goblins. This is not a bug, or a messed up priority, that's just how trolls work. You get a somewhat strong guard, but it eats goblins. Same goes with vampires, they don't eat basic meals, they eat low level minions.
