Dance Dash

Dance Dash

I need help with this game
I purchased the game via the App Lab only to find out that I needed the straps to strap the controllers to my feet. So I went out and purchased the straps. I found that they provided a game key for the purchase through Steam. I requested a refund for the money paid on the App Lab purchase. I assumed that accessing the game was the same with the product key version through Steam. Either I am missing something completely obvious, or the instructions are as vague as I presume them to be. I launch the game within Steam and nothing happens within the headset. The game isn't installed on the headset, yet, on my computer the game shows. What am I doing wrong here? What exactly am I missing?

If you play it on a meta device you need to link it to the pc first, either the occlus link or the steam link all works.

The applab version is a standalone version that you don't need to run it on pc and link it to play it, Steam version is pc required.

Thank you...I appreciate your reply. I thought, at the time I was having the issue, that I was connected via the link. I found, however, that I wasn't. I wish I would've known about the link being required...I would have kept the App Lab version since my PC isn't close to my modem and I have to be tethered with the cord. Plus, it's much more convenient to have the stand alone version for travel purposes (I may just bite the bullet, after testing it via the link version, and purchase the App Lab version again). Thank you very much for your time in explaining this to me. I truly appreciate you for doing so. :)
