I agree completely.
I am not interested in any MP (in any game, this one included) and thus want no MP tools spying on me and slowing my SP gameplay.
As long as it is possible to completely avoid MP and all its tools while playing SP, I do not mind if there is any MP for those players who like it. I am actually happy for them that they can play the way they like. The way I like to play is without any always-online, anti-cheat or similar
