Performance patch/fixes?
Title. Running on a RTX 3060 and i dip down into the 40s pretty often during the bigger fights in episode 1 (even when everything is turned to low at 1080p), when otherwise esp early on it's a smooth 120 or so. I've heard similar issues, any idea if there's a patch at some point lined up? anyone find any fixes? Really like this game so far this is the only real thing bringing it down for me.

Yeah I stopped playing for the same reason until there is a patch. Would like to hear the devs acknowledge it though.

I also received hitches and dips on my 6800xt

Getting a lot of stuttering on my GTX 1070 Ti, waiting for a patch.

I was surprised to get stuttering on my RTX 3080 given the basic graphics (with a nice art style).

Wonder what is going on. I'm on a 3060 ti and haven't dipped once the entire time.

Very random until patched, some can run this smooth on a 1060, others dipping on a 2060, this is a common case in most games on release. Expect patches within a week. They can't test everyones rigs before release so they are probably collecting data now.

Makes no sense. I'm on an GTX 1070. I've dropped down to 1080p, but punched AA up in Nvidia control panel to x8 to keep everything clean. Totally rock solid, liquid performance even in the wildest arena battles (I'm playing on Hard). My CPU is a Ryzen 9 3900x. Maybe Boltgun is CPU heavy?

I am on a I9 9900k and 7900 XTX and I get drops to 40 fps @ 1440p in big battles. nothing to do with GPU - its all CPU for sure. otherwise im sitting at solid 240fps at all times outside of these slowdowns

Looks like it. What CPU is everyone else using?

Ryzen 7 5000H iirc

Lots of unnecessary stuttering here too. i5-13500, 6750XT, 32GB ram, GPU/CPU utilisation is low, ultra settings @ 1440, but stuttering even without any real action happening.

are you guys using one cable for both power supply sockets? try using a different power supply cable for each gpu plug. If you are using a single power supply cable for both, you are going to be bottlenecked by your maximum wattage. I've noticed this game has a high power draw.

13700k + 4090.

I was having problems yesterday, especially on stage 3, but today I haven't had any problems so far. Unsure why, but I did update my Nvidia drivers today, so maybe that helped?

5800X3D and 3090ti here. Though the thing for me is it has actually seemed to stutter less the further I progress in the game. Chapter 1 stuttered a lot. !st level of chapter 2 stuttered a bit and past that 99% of the time it's fine now no matter what is happening.
