According to the lore, an Astartes' bolter loaded with standard ammunition either shoots .75 cal or .998 cal armor piercing explosive ammunition therefore I'm assuming a Space Marine would survive a 50. cal armor piercing explosive bullet.
Edit : I'm not saying it can shoot both but rather that it's unclear which one it is in the lore.

Bolters would be unlikely to be of concern to an Abrams given we have seen the effects of bolter rounds of natural objects. These are anti-infantry weapons, after all. Any marine anti-material weapon such as a plasma gun however would be a different story.
Ranged Tyranid bio-weapons shoot stuff like plasma and acid and their close range weapons that are effective against armor, like the bonesword, are imbued with psionic energy and whatnot.
