Boring Doom Clone...

Can't believe someone managed to create boring doom, with terrible AI where u can shoot the shoulder of the big guy stuck behind the pillar till he dies and he is not going to move.

Also one of the worst OSTs I've heard in video games last couple of years...

What, does everything have to be some grand scheme with multiple layers to it? I enjoy shooting stuff. Doom lets me shoot stuff. Wolfenstein lets me shoot stuff. Resident Evil lets me shoot stuff.

It's as if the act of fun without alternative gain is foreign to some people.

Continuing the line, Ride to Hell: Retribution lets you shoot things. Space Invaders lets you shoot things. Redfall lets you shoot things.

So this is all game needs to be fun, right? To be able to shoot things?

For me? Yes. But i don't claim that my tastes are everyone else's or condemn a game for being more or less than what i wanted out of them. I certainly don't look at a 90s era looking shooter and expect anything more than a 90s era shooter experience.

Again, why can't the simplicity of playing the game be fun in and of itself? Why does a SHOOTER get called boring for being a shooter?

Maybe shooting a normal ball is better than doom? Perhaps best game ever is ball on a rope allowing to shoot forever without going anywhere? Maybe it is more about camera photoshoot? Maybe your definition of fun shooting even includes junky gameplay with suringes?

This is a Retro Style Shooter in Unreal 4 wich they also advertised to you, the fact that you call it a simple Doom Clone proves that you're just a troll.

Yeah, sorry. Kinda enjoy Back 4 Blood. Never could get enough of zombies. Worse or not, i enjoy it.

Again, i don't have a specific "why" i just enjoy it. I find it fun. This shouldn't be a difficult concept to grasp but you have to be a pseudo-intellectual trying to find meaning in things that don't mean anything.

And then you snowball into an unhinged rant about literally nothing.

I like shooting.

Shooting is fun. It's destructive. It soothes me. I don't have a specific point of satisfaction. There's nothing more to say.

Well, you are saying that this doesn't mean anything. That is a loaded phrase. One can assume that the meaning evades from you. Perhaps you use "meaning" as a form of saying "it is of no use for me" or even "I don't care", but this is only because you fail to see practical application of rationalization to everyday life, at least right now. Let's say that politicians, businesses, reviewers and many other professions depend on your ability to rationalize.
