Stuck on Sanctum Magistratum.

Puzzles & mazes simply do not work for my brain for various reasons. I'm totally stuck on the portal puzzle in the Sanctum Magistratum. Anyone have any tips on how to get through it, or a guide of some sort? Really getting quite frustrated as I simply can't progress.

follow the red circle/cross symbols and blood, there are specific portals with them above them. theres a sideways portal that you have to go through too

Those are called Chaos Stars, btw.

If you follow the cross symbol portals, you eventually get to a part where there's a portal off to one of the sides, with the portal "door" turned sideways. It also has a red cross beside it. This is the final portal to get to the next area.

I was stuck on this for like 15 mins too it was annoying. heh.

follow the portals that have star on top right. After 3 or 4 doors, the next door wont be just in front of you. Look down, there will be one portal at 90 degrees that has the start at the correct location. You have to jump down on the arches and jump in the door, even if its horizontal. From what i understand, the position of the star indicates which orientation the next room will have. I was stuck solid 15 mins there too.

this level was really irritating till i looked it up on youtube. there's no way i was gonna figure out to follow the symbols off to the side. it took me a bit of searching even after i knew what i was sposed to do.

At some point I am just falling back to the beginning and I am going through the same portals over and over again...
Do I have to land on a specific platform when I fall, because I am just managing to not die?
