It registers mouse buttons ingame (not actual camera movement) and and keypresses on the keybind menu (not ingame or any other menu) - but otherwise I've unplugged absolutely everything, including my speakers and it just doesn't alter anything.
This is all kinds of weird and busted, haven't seen these sorts of input issues since GFWL games.
Agreed on the jank but have you tried plugging the controller back in while the game was still running?
Many times.
Replugged the controller, the keyboard, the mouse, the speakers multiple times. Tried running it on a bunch of compatibility modes and in admin mode, tried changing the video mode from fullscreen to windowed, tried just playing with the controller itself (doesn't register either). Alt-tabbing in and out, various clean restarts with nothing plugged in, verified the files, even slapped in dgVoodoo just to see if it did anything.
Nice dice, I'm afraid, but thanks for checking. Ah well, worth a shot. I'll just come back in a day or so and see if the hodgepodge of workarounds people hopefully cobble together do anything. There's no rush.
I hope they sort this out quickly, i was curious to so how the game is.
