Dog barking driving me crazy!

Will this dog be with me throughout the entire game? If so, can we please get an option to stop his constant barking? It is making me not want to even play the game. I'm sorry, it's just super annoying.

He is trying to lead you during the first four tasks of main story.
Once you meet the taskmaster goblin he will calm down. :-)
You can also lower his volume under audio settings.

Thank you for the response, and the info. I meant no offense at all. I was just curious if I would have the dog barking at me like that throughout the entire game.

I apologize for my response to the other poster. I admit I got a little irritated by his comment toward me.

I'm really liking the game. It looks beautiful and it's obvious a lot of work went into it.

A shame that dog doesn't have a separate audio setting. What setting adjusts it btw?
My two labs come running into my room excited every time they hear that mutt.
