Load Failed Ironman after power outage

When I attempted to load my game after the power went out, it says it failed, when i look at the save files that I have the file for my current game which i was very happy with on iron man is there but it shows no information on character level or anything... This is enough to put me off the game but im wondering is there any hope i have of regaining the save or am I basically SOOL?

EDIT: Ive loaded into the save but the characters invisible, stats are all reset to 0, no quests, no anything. all mastery is gone, talents are gone, items and money is all gone as well. I cant interact with anything, I cant attempt to manually save, word to the wise, if you play iron man, if you can find a way to port a save file somehow of your game as a back up id try to do that. I spent my little off time i have from work and as i near bed its like the whole day was wasted, this is pretty sad. Good luck to others.

Hey, yes, we have a backup save system exactly for cases like that.

You can find three backup save files in
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\VI Games\Svarog's Dream
and manually replace problematic one with one of those.
