Report a translation problem
Based on player feedback, many didn’t enjoy this fight, so we’ve been improving it since release (e.g., Veles’ tips, an adventurer helping with magic potions and advice, poetry notes etc.).
One of the improvements was ensuring that summons wouldn’t interfere and disrupt the fight.
We will investigate what could have caused the dogs to trigger their displacement, as that sounds like a bug.

Dogs are not causing displacement, but they interrupt their actions - at least that's what I think it is - because I got them on opposite sides, with walls behind them, staring at each other, and nothing happens because one of them is constantly interrupted by dogs.
But I think this is the problem with Ironman mode games - you can't really deviate too much from an established gameplay.
Take Elden Rings for example - when you die, you die because you didn't dodge or anticipate a boss movement, but it's all within the game's mechanics.
Here, you just go in and die without having any fault, because the entire fight doesn't follow any established game mechanics.
I am salty because my dude had 90 INT and 90 STR and matched my build very well xD

The whole thing with them is to slay them 8 times while they are placed diagonally across from each other to break each wall of house. After that they are dead and quest is done.
When it comes to mentioned bug, this is the first time hearing about that bug. We could look into it to try and see if we can reproduce it.
I will try it again, and i did not know that the new storyline is an alternative.
But, t.b.h., would be great with a kind of emergency button, that the game realizes when something went wrong. The game is worth it, before that one fight everything was (and is even more, now) nearly perfect, at least what i expect a good game should be.
This fight and the necromancer island dialogue are the two interactions that have received the most negative feedback so far, so I believe there is truth to what you are saying.
It also saddens me to hear that a potential bug may have made the experience worse. For this reason, you have an open invitation, if you're in the mood, we can manually adjust your save file to skip the fight or resurrect a similar character. Just ping me over discord and it will take 5 minutes.
I would truly love for you to experience what we’ve prepared for some of the game’s endings.

I'm gonna try the fight again, I don't like my current char anyway, and then see if we can bring back my 90 INT/90 STR char. That guy was sooooo good for an arcane knight kindof build.

The player will be freed from the witch's house, and the quest will be marked as completed.
Since the villager gives you 5 potions and each lasts 1 minute, why not make it 5-10 minutes?
