Is there a place for me to stash my items?

I'm still very early in the game obviously, but I'm wondering if there is some sort of player stash I can find to stash items for future characters when I inevitably die?

yes there's a lot scatter around the map, you just need to progress the main story and eventually you will find one (very early one)

There are gobs of them but you do need to travel to them as they are not global stashes, just local. There is a fast travel mechanic, so try to use chests that are in fast travel areas. Bara has a bunch of them and it's the 2nd main quest location.

The closest stash spot, or easiest to get to, near Bor is the Alchemist hut. There are 3 chests there, which you can stash stuff in. It's just North/North East of Bor in the forest. It's a smart place to go when you are starting out anyway, as there are a few easy quests you can do, and you can learn some alchemy recipes.

Hint: Do 3-4 of the alchemy quests, then run up to Grad and talk to the cook, ask to learn cooking, and do the cooking quest line. A lot of the alchemy and cooking quests send you to the same places, so you can do a lot of them at the same time. This gets you some easy experience and a lot of cooking/alchemy recipes.
