Wait is the world just dynamically changing?
Is it like Kenshi where the world doesn't care about you and will keep moving with or without you? I saw in the trailer random events popping up so the world seems to be in motion, or is everything triggered by the player? how dynamic are these emergent events?

Events are more related to player actions, you can find some examples in this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2004640/discussions/0/3958161899230609858/

We added a bit of Kenshi-like realism, but just a bit. This is not a game like Kenshi.
The game primarily focuses on narrative and exploration, and the level of realism is included solely for the sake of immersion.

Feel free to ask any other questions.

Just took a look at that thread it looks like you're a bit like shadow of mordors nemesis system, you defeat and orc later on the orc comes back but he's adapted new techniques to try to beat you with..almost like having your own arch enemy.

but with your game it's like triggers (The orc defending the bridge scenario) which is pretty cool you guys should really dive into that feature it something rarely seen and i feel that is like a BIG money feature cause it offers potential replay value (I'm more of a sandbox player i like creating my own stories in the world after the narrative is done)

thank you for answering!

I would not compare it to the Nemesis system; the troll incident was just one example but not the rule. Here are some other examples:

Random small event: A trade cart has gone missing in that area - if you find it in time, you can loot it.
Random small event: Alchemy in the Fate Faction has been forbidden - this is resulting in higher prices of crafted potions and lower prices of ingredients globally.
Big player-driven event: The Underworld Horde has captured a castle - this will replace all town NPCs with horde members, change traders, etc.
We also use them to balance the game; for example, a new quest giver may come to an early-game town who will provide late-game quests.

Always love discussing game mechanics.
Thank you for your questions and for sharing your impressions.
