Duelyst 2 tries to go for the 2 draw and no hero powers. Legacy is basically the old game, wihtout any future changes. It probably is quite dead now, because dreamsloth removed xp past lvl 10 from it. A bunch of players, me included, stopped playing for now because of that.
Also duelyst 2 is not the continuation of duelyst 1, it is a different devteam, they dont want to recreate duelyst 1 and try to do their own iteration of duelyst. Also, since no one has the old accountdata, no one would know which cards you owned.
As a sidenote, if you want to play the old duelyst, try duelyst.gg, it is bascially the original one but programmed and continued from scrap by a single person. You currently can play it on a website, mobile and in a few days it will launch on steam. It is basically the old game, with updates, like slefmade new cards, balancepatches and stuff. But I am not sure how good it is, I havent played it yet.
As bonuspoint, duelyst.gg gives you all cards for free, so you dont have to grind for a new collection. And to be hones here, I think duelyst 2 has way to slow progress for a game that claims to be monetized mostly by cosmetics.
