700 players for a f2p ccg on Steam in 2022 is actually really good in all reality.
I mean the lowest is $5 and it goes to $100.... like how much cheaper does it have to be? If you think it can viably be any cheaper and keep servers online, maintenance for said servers, etc. then I can certainly say with 100% confidence you do not understand video game development nor the cost involved in it.
Looks like was made for a different game
Also im willing to buy packs just like how I was willing in hearthstone until blizzard released Diablo Immoral and made me lose faith in them
The player count is concerning if only because it's so close to release and it's only that high. If it stayed that way for the next four or five years it would be perfectly fine. What you should be complaining about is the radio silence from the devs, since that typically doesn't bode well for any free to play game.
