Batman Arkham City GOTY mac edition?

I saw that Batman AC showed up in the app store today and i was wondering if anyone knew whether or not it would show up on the steam store anytime soon for the mac. I purchased it already so if it does make it i assume that it will just be added to my mac games section?

I have a mac and have windows 7 in bootcamp. Will I have most optimal performance playing this on mac os x or windows 7 in bootcamp? Currently downloading mac version.

I work for Feral (we ported both Batman games) the graphics are the same as the PC we have never had a game with low quality fonts, every game we ported has the same high quality fonts as the original in fact fonts have never eally been a problem to port. :) If the fonts are lower quality that is due to the quality of the porting company concerned.


Did you know the Mac version of Arkham Asylum has the "Play as the Joker" bonus levels which the PC and 360 versions never got? Sometimes the fact a porting company has time to focus on the Mac gives benefits of extra Mac attension to detail and in this case some extra content :)

Thank God Feral is bringing some games to Steam for Mac instead of just the Mac App Store. The Mac App store may offer more for them but it's absolute garbage when it comes to keeping in sync with a PC version for polarity in multiplayer games.

I noticed Aspyr has been getting really hyped about working with Steam and was really wanting Feral to do the same.

I'll purchase this game for Mac on Steam tonight even though I already own it on PS3 and 360.

Please Feral bring us Arkham Asylum, Deus EX: Human Rev, Borderlands 1 GOTY, Bioshock 2, Sonic Racing, Tropico 4, and any of the Total War games

I bought Xcom:Enemy Unknown and Borderlands 2 the second they had a Mac version of Steam and have enjoyed playing online with my PC using friends. So it's safe to say that I'll re-purchase any of your current catalog if you move it to Steam as well!

Because I worked on the Mac version and this thread is about the Mac version (not the PC) so I thought I would add information about that version of the game :)

Because I worked on the Mac version and this thread is about the Mac version (not the PC) so I thought I would add information about that version of the game :)

I can't comment offically on scedules etc but unoffically I would not expect one any time soon, older games tend to get updated in between new releases and we have loads of new releases to get done :)

The amount of love and attention to tiny details that you guys include always makes it feel like the game was actually made with Macs in mind.

Thanks for the support :) We have a lot of new games coming and we expect we will start supporting Steam more and more where we can in the future.

I'm not sure how Steamplay actually works, if it's one version of the game that works on both PC and MAC or 2 versions but, when ever you do start working on BAA GOTY, if it's possible, can you please add "Play as the Joker" and "Prey in the Darkness" to the PC version too? From waht I saw on the Steam forums, all it needed for them to work on a PC was to move the files from the MAC version to the PC version's game folder. I will be really thankful if you do it.

It's two versions by two different companies and I only work on the Mac version. You would need to request this from the PC developers.

I see that you work for feral and bought both batman games from humble bundle. I would like to know see as how Arkham Asylum is in the app store. When will the mac version be released on steam because I really want to get my money's worth.

We have no plans at the moment to port Batman Arkham Asylum to Steam.
