Enable 3D with Nvidia Card?
I should be able to do this. I have the 3DTV and glasses (I know it works, I have done 3D with my 360, and PS3) and I am using the Nvidia GTX 660ti OC which I know has 3D ability, and I can get the 3D test in the Nvidia control panel to work properly in 3D.
However, when I launch the game and click on Configure and go into the settings, it says that 3D Vision is turned on but when I start it up nothing is in 3D. Additionally, the game is laggy. It lags in the menu, and also when I load my game and keeps lagging until I quit and disable 3D in the games pre-launch menu. It's probably around 10 fps.

Is there some trick? Or something so obviously that I may be overlooking? I have looked around online and haven't seen any similar issues, so I figure mine is glitching or as I said, I am overlooking something obvious.

Additional Note:
I'm not sure how other 3DTVs work, but mine gives a prompt when it detects 3D input telling me it detected it and asking if I want to enable 3D on my TV. If I say yes, then the screen adapts and with my glasses on it works properly. If I say no (or dont select Yes fast enough the option disappears, which I hate, though I can enable it manually), then the screen looks distorted, because it is still trying to display the 3D information without 3D enabled on the TV.
However, when I start AA the prompt never appears and the game looks like it does normally in 2D.

You need nvidia 3dtv play software. You also need a 1.4 HDMI cable.

Nothing I ever read said anything about additional software... Is it free, or in addition to buying the 3D capable GPU do I have to pay them more just to use it? lol
And I do have a 3D capable HDMI cable, it is the same one I used to use on my PS3 for 3D stuff.

I would have a check on nvidia site to see if your 3DTV is compatible with the 3DTV play software. It works different to a console. The software does cost money, but because it's a 3DTV, not a monitor. You'll be limited to 1280x720@60Hz. Once you have software, enabled stereo 3d in nvidia control panel and chose 3DTV Play as your display. You turn it on/off with CTRL+T. Not sure how good it is, as I use a 3d vision monitor.

I had issues with this myself and I'm unsure if you fixed it or not. If you haven't fixed I have to ask - are you playing the DX11 version or DX9 version for 3d? I had real frame rate issues with it last night in 3d and found that it was because I was running DX11. Try running it in dx9 with all dx 11 features turned off.

3Dplay isn't that great but it does work on my 3d monitor with a GTX560ti. You get a 14 day trial of the software and I will be honest I have had issues trying to purchase it in the UK. I understand what you say about the additional software though. Nvidia need to be a bit clearer on their specs and what is and isn't compatible. My passive 3d monitor wasn't compatible so I ran 3rd party software that came with the monitor. After emails to and from nVidia and a few months later my monitor is suddenly compatible, go figure.

I havent messed around with it anymore recently, though I don't understand why I would be able to get the 3D to work in the Nvidia control panel but it won't work in a game?

try setting the in-game resolutioni to 1280x720 and that might help. Nvidia's 3d is a bit funny. Once you activate it you need to set the desktop to 1280x720 (60hz) or 1920x1080 @24 hz. In the game settings from the launcher you change resolution to 1280x720 (I found this to be the most stable) and then set the DX 11 to off and run it DX9. Should work a treat.

I have a similar issue in which I can't enable 3D either in game or in the Nvidia control panel. I have played 3D games on my PC before, I've recently just played Call of Duty and Crysis 2 and 3 in stereoscopic vision. Any help would be much appreciated.
